this phrase caused me to sink into deep thought...
it is true that no one remember who came in second because champion is the focus...
i know such phrase is meant to push people to strive for excellence...
but such phrase also puts down those who fail to become the champion...
in fact, without the second, third and the rest, the first doesn't mean anything...
isn't it?

: oh...... not bad, at least u r not the second...
: no, i'm the only one that compete...

no one will remember the number one without the rest...
we might not always be the champion, though we need to strive to become the best
but when we can't be the champion, not even top 10...
don't give up, don't be discouraged...
do not count on all the first that you failed to achieve;
but don't fail to make every second of your life count
