Family altar

two weeks ago we met and had our family altar...
quite different from the time when it 1st started...

i think about 2 yrs ago Papa came out with this idea...
he said, "i am the head of the house,
and I believe God wants me to bless my family.
so we must meet at least once a month."
when he said, it was done.

well, we didn't manage to meet every month...
coz sometime someone got something to do...
but no matter what, we tried to meet...

when it 1st started, no one dare to talk...
Mummy will be the worship leader...
Papa will be the speaker...
the rest, juz the listener...
once in while we were asked, so we answered...

i remembered Papa started off by sharing Psalms (i think is 103)...
dun quite remember what he said..
(eh, 2 yrs plus liao, how to remember?)
(but amazingly, he remembered... ask him, he'll tell u)
though i dun remember, but it was quite a good one...

slowly it changed a bit...
dorothy then became the worship leader...
mummy? co-lead :-P
we began to share more...
it turn from a 'service' to more a cell group...
sometimes it was juz a prayer time...









two weeks ago we had visitors...
my mum and niece...
wah, macam cell group grew le, ha...
mummy was the worship leader...
coz dorothy became the interpreter...
papa was the 'blesser' coz he felt strongly that he muz pray a prayer of blessing for all of us...
not much of sharing but the feeling was juz great...

initially, everyone drag their feet to go (of course papa and mummy din coz they organizer ma)
but thx to papa! (Pa! thank u!)
after 2 yrs plus of pushing and never give up...
finally the family altar has been very good...
















nowadays everyone is happy to go (sometime can't wait to meet up)...
we had laughter, prayer, makan and time of worship...
the whole family were knitted together...
we became closer...
