why????

wow, it's been more than a month since i blog...
not because nothing to blog, juz too busy to blog...

was busy with
1. mission training
2. worship leading training
3. preparing message
4. christmas project
5. wedding
6. teenz album
7. next yr school term

wanted to finish before i go for mission...
yar, suppose to be 28 Nov - 4 Dec...
but on 25 Nov, some thai anti-government group decided to 'storm' the airport...
by occupying the airport in hope to overthrow the government...

some say, 'aiya, they will go home the next day la...'
fat hope, they didn't move...
26 Nov i remember i sent a quite long (3pages in sms) message to all the team member...
asked all of them to fast and pray so that we can all go...
27 Nov, church leaders had a meeting and our group was told not to go...
i thought i was ok (coz i actually have lots of things to do, so kinda good also)...
but as i walk out from the conference room and sat down at the reception area..
i started crying... why? why? why me? why now?
all that we have prepared are now a waste...
all geared up, now can't go..
some of the team members had a tough time just to get permission...
why?

some say it's God's will that we don't go..
i refuse to accept...
it's almost saying that all those who hears God asking them go all heard wrongly...
it's like saying, 'it's God's will for mankind to sin, so that Jesus can come'
NONSENSE!

28 Nov, all the Wang Nam Khiao team members (almost all) gathered in church...
we shared how we felt and we spent time to pray...
as i was praying, i felt God was speaking to me...
'God knew it is coming and He allowed it to happen before we go...
so that we won't get stranded in Bangkok...
God loves us, He's good to us...
He delivered us from evil...'
immediately i was at ease...
it doesn't matter whether it was His will for us to go or not...
but i know His ways are higher and it's all for our good...
certainly many of us (WNK team) will feel sad...
but ultimately, God saves us from troubles and danger...

He is our good shepherd...
