Recently got to deal with lots of accounts..
TEENz album, Cambodia mission trip, Thai recce trip..
so 'luan'...
#1 TEENz album
we received warning letters from the Companies Commission..
the summon? a lot.. better don't mention here...
why? coz our account haven't submitted yet...
but i thought i have given all the necessary documents to the accountant?
after calling him, realized not true..
lots of supporting documents insufficient so he can't proceed..
so, tried so hard to provide..
come to the last stage, realize need to pay tax even though we are running at d
eficit...
after asking many question over email, he replied:
"I think you need to learn some basic accounts before talking to me..."
So paiseh.. i felt so......
#2 Cambodia mission trip
it happened almost 45 days ago...
i told myself, not hard la, been to mission so many times...
handled the accounts many times, shd be ok...
who knows, simple simple account also took me more than 1 hour to tally..
almost can't find the connecting point..
and normally can't tally, who pays? the one who does the account...
but, thank God, managed to do it..
#3 Thai recce trip
the most confusing one..
i submitted budget, but money didn't release in time and we left..
before we left, i collected from Gladys and Yan their payment..
but no time to return to church and no time to pay credit card...
so when i came back, it's time to pay credit card (purchase of airticket)...
then i received money from church...
though it was total amount but some parts juz not so right..
so i started to do the account..
i spent 3 hours.. could not figure out how to tally it..
coz i used money from individual payment pay airticket...
but the money given from church deducted the individual money exchange for personal use...
(confuse? i was totally lost)
and the final amount, i need to top up something like 800...
WAH! how ohhr?
Called help.. Sonny came in..
Initially he was also confuse but thank God...
Sonny was a very very good accountant before..
so.. within 5 mins.. he saw the problem and gave me the answer...
praise God, account submitted to church...
phheeew...
I am not cut out for accountancy.. that's for sure...
