he said this when we were on our way to Hod (or Hot), ard 5.45pm (local time)...
The day started as early as 4am...
juz when i was about to go and open the house door...
and I got a shock in my life, coz the whole bunch was gone!!!
after a long search (abt 30mins), finally...
knock on my mum's door and get key from her..
Reached church so late (5am)... quickly load everything...
by the time we reach Spore custom, 5.40am...
cleared the custom and rushed all the way (dun ask how fast i drove)...
our flight was supposed to be 7.15am...
we were there, 6.15am...
I told Jeff, 'bro, u gotta fly..." (he'll be our 'pioneer' to go and check-in)
thank God we were not the last one...
after checked in, had a quick breakie @ BK (ha, as usual)...
the plane didn't take off until about 7.40am...
so by the time we reach Bangkok (BKK) airport was almost 9...
our connecting flight to Chiang Mai is 11am...
at Don Muang airport...
according to the internet, it's about 45mins from where we were...
should be enough time...
as we stepped into the immigration area, i got 2nd shock in my life..
it was full of people.. people mountain, people sea...
we switched 3 - 4 lanes juz try to get a shorter lane...
I was the 1st one who cleared, it was 9.25am...
and to my 3rd shock, one baggage missing...
ran around, found it @ oversize baggage area...
by the time they all cleared, was about 9.40am..
Hired 2 taxi at 9.45am...
So we told the driver to rush...
asked him how long, he said 50mins...
and, we were supposed to be at the airport by 10.15am
we reached Don Muang airport @ 10.25am...
i told Jeff, "err, u gotta fly.. again"..
Jeff ran again... to be the pioneer...
Thank God, we were the last to check-in....
but still can make it...
We board the plane, it took off...
Just when i was feeling hungry...
the air-stewardess came by and gave all of us Auntie Annie's hotdog bun...
WAH! my #??? shock...
though it is a budget airline but they serve food!!!
praise God!
Arrived Chiang Mai, came out of airport, met with Ps.Joseph...
we had lunch at Carrefour and went to Makro did some shopping...
Drinking water, toilet papers (Ps said orphanage no toilet paper), oil, tidbits, papers, etc... were all in our cart...
went to market to get meat and vege (Ps suggested to cook our own, cheaper)...
so, by the time we really leave for Hod...
was almost 4.45pm...
we reached Hod about 6.20pm...
and Ps brought us to PP Resort to check-in...
to my total surprise, it is really comfy and nice...
with hot shower, aircon and... internet access...
but the internet access is like '过境阵雨' (occasional rain) lol...
so sometimes have, sometimes dun have...
but good enough.. at least i can blog...
had simple dinner and we quickly had team meeting...
practiced songs, finalized programs for the following day...
and the time is 11pm (local time)...
Wah.. like that already whole day...
seems like we didn't do much, but time juz passed...
had a good time of laughter and fellowship..
was a good day..
