But King David replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on paying the full price. I will not take for the LORD what is yours, or sacrifice a burnt offering that costs me nothing.”
it's a wonderful statement David made...
it's not something new, but this time it's so impactful...
with so many things happened and many of them are really pushing me to my limit...
then i felt God is asking me... are you willing to sacrifice?
then when i read the passage it spoke to me...
if it costs me nothing then what kind of sacrifice is it?
then if it's not a sacrifice, then it might not be from me at all...
Paul urges all God's people to offer ourselves as living sacrifices...
because it's a spiritual act of worship..
if every time when i offer praises and cost me nothing...
then how real, how true, how genuine is my worship to God?
if He's worthy then no matter how much more sacrifice, it's worth it...
i am willing to sacrifice my time... especially when i am hardpressed..
i am willing to sacrifice my comfort... together with my 'convenient'
i am willing to sacrifice my feel for tiredness... because He add strengths...
Thank You Jesus... Your unreserved sacrifice... even when i was a sinner...
thank You...
