He's not that old but we knew each other for a long time...
Daniel... a guy whom i knew since Peralihan @ SDJ...
岁月+新加坡的"摧残" (LOL) yet he's still the same Daniel..
Soft spoken yet firm in decision, friendly, smiley face (most of the time)...
a guy with lots of talent, especially in writing and drawing...
quite 重感情 but not so emotional (not too sure la)...
Why i talked about him? coz last night we had a great time of fellowship...
He's now in SG, married with 2 kids, kinda happy in his job...
I'm happy for him...
Last nite dinner then he mentioned about how we met...
it was quite funny (yet torturing also) for his part..
when he entered SDJ, he was assigned to 'Putih' (white) class...
he said this "though is 'PUTIH' but the class is either brown, black, with a bit of yellow, no putih at all... |||" LOL, LOVL.. he's just so funny...
then change to Kuning (yellow) and finally Biru (blue) which was the class we met...
I think I was in Merah (red) at first then Biru - suppose to be the elite class...
dunno how managed to get in.. LOL
Another thing - he's got superb memory..
he was asking me about some names which i can't recall until he mentioned...
man, he was there only for 1 1/2 years but he remembered...
we (one more guy - his name is Wei Hui, we call him Professor) became good friend then...
all because the 3 of us love to write - story, article...
so when he decided to move to SG (family decision), Prof and I became regular customer of SG...
and very often we were late...
Thanks to the immigration, which after so many years still so jam...
so poor Daniel always gotta wait..
i remember once we set to meet at 9am but when we reach JB custom...
Prof suddenly realized his passport expired...
those days no mobile phone and by then Daniel has left his house...
so according to Daniel, he waited for an hour plus before he decided to go home...
but the 2 of us still made our way to his house and 'surprised' him... LOL
our usual place was 'cyber cafe' (just a shop that sells PC games and renting some PC for 'kids' to play without internet access) - we played PC game..
most of the time we eat, talk, share ideas and played PC games...
WOW, i could go on, just so much of good memory with my good old friend...
now back to the dinner last night...
so Daniel asked the wife to help take a photo...
she kept asking both of us to come closer..
so tried... but after she took the photo she said...
"aiyo, why there's a gap?"
and Daniel replied "we can't possibly stick our face together, right?"
i just kept laughing...
Thank u Daniel for being a faithful friend...
God bless your birthday...
ya, i went to meet him for his birthday...
which we used to do...
just that this round without prof...
and without birthday gift..
oh.. this is the photo the wife took... :)
man, my face is so big... LOL
good to know you Daniel...
