ya, better write it down so that i won't regret for forgetting...
it was during the fasting month...
can't remember when but i think was just half way through...
for a long long time, i remembered that during fasting month...
non-muslim should not eat in front of the muslim during day time...
it's kinda disrespect coz they are fasting...
the other day my wife and i were at Jusco...
it was about 6+ and we decided to eat simple dinner...
at Jusco food court and then go for movie...
so we bought some food and drinks...
then when i looked around i saw many Malays were there too..
they bought their food but all not eating..
then it dawn on me that it was their fasting month!
we tried to eat discreetly but they were quite close...
so... i mean, they could see us eating...
i was kinda embarrassed but had to eat or else we miss our movie...
finally we finished our dinner and it was about 7.10pm...
but those Malays around us still not eating...
then we were wondering, will they announce 'buka puasa'?
as we were wondering then over PA someone begin to pray..
then we walked passed different tables and we saw the Malays praying...
Suddenly i felt so touch - they were so serious about it...
they were so committed...
i didn't think of those who actually 'break the law'...
but what i saw was enough - i was touched...
i salute their commitment and devotion...
"what about me?" i began to ask myself....
Lord, help me to be serious with You...
Help me to be committed in Your kingdom...
