was on my way to TCA college yesterday...
took a bus to 170 bus depot..
then walked over to another bus stop which is about 1km away...
waited for a long time, no sign of bus no. 80..
then came a bus (can't remember wat no.)...
quite a lot people waiting to get onto the bus...
as the Q getting shorter, there was an elderly man was rushing towards the bus..
i can't take my sight off him, watching him running (to us it's more like brisk walking)
by the time he reach the back of the bus (engine area)..
the door was closed and ready to go on...
though that man hit the glass of the bus but obviously the driver didn't notice...
so there and then i ran towards the bus...
hit as hard as i can on the glass, hope to catch the driver's attention...
and yes, he noticed someone 'hit' the bus...
so the bus stop and door was opened again..
that old man stop and look at me with surprise written all over his face...
i showed him a gesture of "please, board the bus..."
he smiled and walk onto the bus...
when i return to the bus stop..
a few adults (near primary school so got lots of kids there too) look with disbelief..
i didn't mind, didn't think of myself much...
i was just thinking...
Singapore tried so hard to help the people to be more civic minded...
tried so hard to help Singaporeans to love Singapore..
but it took a Malaysian to help a Singaporean on the soil of Singapore...
it's not program, not education..
only Jesus can change a person to have love that flows from their heart..
I am the salt and light of this world..
